Political Advocacy (CEPA)

Empower the ACT Muslim and broader community through education, mobilization, and advocacy to actively participate in the political process and advocate for policies that promote justice, equity, and inclusion.

We will engage with our community and work collaboratively with community groups to address issues that affect our daily lives. We will encourage participation of community members in decision-making processes.

We will shape public opinion by engaging in activities that impact perceptions, build support, and influence policy changes. We will conduct public education campaigns, media outreach, social media campaigns, public demonstrations and events, petitions and coalition building and partnerships.

We will Influence public policy and resource allocation decisions within political, economic, and social systems and institutions. We will engage in activities that influence lawmakers and officials.
